3 DENNETT Place House

Dennett Place is a one block street in Carroll Gardens that has historically been one of Brooklyn's best kept secrets- known for its block parties and safe child play zone. Homes have traditionally remained within families and multi-generational through most of the twentieth century.

The third family in over a hundred and twenty years to occupy this Dennett Place home is leaving a cozy hideaway which has been tastefully redone with a rustic touch over the past twenty years. The owners, a baker and artist, have raised two children, and having become empty nesters are ready to showcase this special home to the next lucky occupants.

This three-story two family is currently being used as a single family home. Entering the house from the stoop you will step into a world that pays attention to design and detail

One's eyes are immediately drawn to the glass sliding doors leading out to your spacious deck. The large living room has high ceilings, hardwood floors and the perfect cozy feel.

The ground level with its exposed beams, ample cook's kitchen and separate dining, rear bedroom and full bath is expansive enough to stand alone as a separate unit.

The top floor, with its two full bedrooms and full bath, is totally separate from the rest of the house, allowing for a separate work or art/studio workshop & separate bedroom.
